Quando si dice che l’abito non fa il monaco: avevo sempre “snobbato” questo locale per via del suo aspetto, che a mio avviso sembrava poco adatto ai giovani… beh, mi devo ricredere! Ambiente piacevolissimo, musica d’atmosfera accuratamente scelta, personale molto gentile. Io ci sono stato a colazione, e ho scelto un dolcetto che si è rivelato essere una delle cose più buone che io abbia mai mangiato! Tra l’altro, dopo averlo letteralmente divorato, la ragazza mi dice “Com’era? Pensa che è vegano ”. Lascio che sia la foto a parlare al posto mio.

Situato nella palazzina che ospitava lo storico cinema lyceum di Varese simbolo dello stile liberty cittadino che ha attraversato la storia del cinema italiano dalla nascita nel 22 al boom degli anni 59/70 fino al declino dovuto all’homevideo e alla tv. Fortunatamente recuperato troviamo ora questo accogliente caffè con personale educato e sorridente dietro la mascherina. Buone e fresche le brioches e buono anche l’aperitivo. Arredamento moderno che si inserisce bene nel contesto storico.
